8v8 This design is currently the Dutch Angel Dragon Community's Main Group Banner~!!!
It was a seriously difficult contest, especially with such adorable and amazing artists and drawings competing with me~!! I know it was really hard to choose, so thank you, Archangels, for considering and using my artwork as a greeting image on your page! <33

This was my entry for the Official Dutch Angel Dragon Community Facebook Page Banner Contest!

Conceptually, I wanted to kind of work the DAD species' backstory into it, and did it kind of symbolically. Although these are the 8 admins appointed to the group with "Archangel" status, I wanted to present them in a manner that suggested that they're still quite on-level with other Dutch Angel Dragons, to suggest their similarity in the backstory in having fallen from Paradise with the rest of us. <3
Additionally, to also represent that, you'll notice that none of the other Dutch Angel Dragons in the image besides Telephone have their wings opened widely, suggesting their fall a little further and presenting Telephone as kind of the 'Alpha' or 'Pure' essence, since that's kind of what her role was in the storyline. I've also always thought of the Aether as a kind of spacial, ethereal plane that doesn't have much materialistic value to it, and always pictured it as a kind of space-y void, hence the background and some possibly more-dramatic lighting.

That's it for concept--I'm extremely proud of the thought that went into it, but continuing on with some of the other details~! Featured in the piece, of course, is everyone's favorite Dutchie, Telephone, as well as Radio and Species Admins Fenway, Torch, Nimbus, Dew, Remix, Sonar, Voodoo, and Click! <3
I've gotten lots of practice with Dutch Angel Dragons and Angel Dragons in general, just because it seems that my art style leans towards a sort of enhancement for the species and lots of them liked to see their babies in my art style. <3

I'm keeping my eye out for groups that are hosting a similar event, because I love helping these species and groups represent themselves and showcase their creativity in a relatively clean, orderly, mature and semi-professional manner that can further assist in making them a highly inviting community, I'll try and get an entry done for them between schoolwork and commissions when I can. <333
