Here's Centipeetle's head pre-beak and pre-mane. The face is a painted sieve (I know I could have done better with the eye details). There's a layer of black buckram formed behind the sieve. I used the same sphere technique I learned for Muffet's head to make the foam base of the rest of the head and its covered in black fleece.
