There are very few people in this world that have managed to break the "wall" I put up. I like to think I am pretty easy going and easy to get along with, but generally I don't like anyone getting too close to me. So that in itself is quite the feat. But there are even fewer people that not only break that "wall," but completely demolish it.  scarredbeast is one of those people. He has weathered the constant barrage of my insecurities and, for some reason, stood by me no matter how feverishly I tried to push him away. I'll never know why you have stuck around, Alpha, but I want you to know it means the world to me. I'll never be capable of repaying you for all the good you have done for me, but I'll never stop trying. Happy Birthday, and may you have as much cake as you can possibly eat once you are done with your fight.
