a rough ketch of Orolin and the princess he was supposed to be her guardian, but he failed and was thrown into the dungeon.
This was a story idea that I didn´t realize at all
this scenario shows how the princess and her guardian meet again in a dungeon cell
I kept this sketch for a looong time you know. I still have to smile when I look at it... maybe I will finish it someday ^///^ the scenario is cute

Based on the original idea. the princess was kidnapped and Orolin was ambushed and knocked out - he had let down his awareness and was punished for this.
a later idea was that the princess was kidnapped and Orolin was sentenced to death (gallow) but during the execution a war broke out and the castle was attacked. Orolin was able to get free somehow and went on a journey to resue the princess.
He had many adventures and the years passed by but the end of the story was that he found the princess but he had become an old dog after all those years and the princess was an old woman, who was allready prepared to die after a long life. She recognized him and he begged for her forgivness and she blessed him and both dies arm in arms at the end and with them the last two survivors of the old kingdom faded away.
It was a rather tragic story of mine to be honest but sadly I only had the basic background story written down, the adventures over the years were never told^^;

It's kind a really sad history >w<! It seems like Romeo and Juliet >w<! A tragic (love?) story >w<!
I did liked the first idea x3! Where the princess is kidnapped and when the knight try to rescue her, he is also captured >w<! To make the princess suffer a littler, his captor allow her to see his guardian one last time, so that could explain this picture if was a story XD! But them, the princess would be smart and try to bring him something to let him free x3! After that, the guardian would break free and rescue the princess XD!

yes the second story was a bit Romeo and Juliet, but in this case the love was more on a platonic level, because the two races in my story couldn´t interbreed. The love bedween Orolin and the princess was a deep understanding and accepting of each other as they are, with no thoughts about rank or race. The princess was raised in rich conditions but never had a life or her own, now desission of her own, everything was decided for her. Orolin allways was just a small guard who was told to be "invisible" for the royal families, but he admired the princess from the beginning and during his duties of guarding her while she was out in the garden both had long conversations and thus was their most valuable time just talking to each other as equal... and that was their own paradise

Cool. Die Grimm Brüder hatten viele Märchen aus Frankreich zusammengetragen. Und ich habe auch gelesen, dass das Rotkäppchen und der Wolf auch slawische Einflüsse haben, wie die Geschichte von Marja Morewna, die mit einem roten Mantel in einen Wald ging und einen Wolf traf mit dem sie sprach und der ihr den Weg zu einem Schatz in einer Burg wies. Wenn sie es schaffte, den Schatz aus der Burg zu schaffen, ohne auch nur eine Münze zu berühren, dann würde der Schatz ihr gehören und noch viel mehr.
Marja bat dann den Wolf darum, alles heraus zu tragen und damit hatte sie den Zauber gelöst. Der Wolf war ein Prinz und sie lebten reich und glücklich bis an ihr Ende^^

Und es gibt mehrere Plottwists!
Der Holzfäller ist der Werwolf, die Großmutter war mal mit einem verheiratet, der mal Jäger war (wurde durch Biss zu einem)
und hat sein Fell behalten.
Der Nachbarsjunge wurde getötet vom Wolf, weil er beide Inflagranti erwischt hat (bumm bumm bang bang) und die Oma hilft den beiden zu entkommen,
indem sie aus dem Fell ihres verstorbenen Gatten eine Wolfspuppe baut und dem Holzfäller gibt, der behauptet den Wolf getötet zu haben
Bis das Dorf merkt, das es nur eine Attrappe ist, sind Rotkäppchen und ihr Holzfällerwolf über beide Berge verschwunden
und gründen in einem anderen Dorf ihre eigene Familie ^^
