>hair can be the same color as pelt because i know it might be hard to tell that it's a diff shade
>teeth does not always need to be showing
>tail is not straight, it's crooked and looks bent but can straighten out
>is some creature, not a canine. (has claws like a feline, is short, makes weird sounds, large ears and so on)
