Birchthorn is a forest minotaur that was raised by Wood elves since birth. He was small, had little thorn sized horns and fur the colour of a birch tree, so the Elders named him Birchthorn. Growing up around nature he grew to be calm and protective but he will use his natural born strength when needed.

Unlike wood elves, Birchthorn doesn't possess magic but still learned to care for the forest through time, patience and care.

Despite his size and strength will is quite gentle. He will often take in hurt forest animals and care for them until they can fend for themselves. This is how he came across Twig the vinewyrm. She was unable to fly and was left behind when her brothers and sisters hatched. Birchthorn took her in and cared for her. Seeing each other as different than others around them, they formed a close bond. Now she travels with him wherever he goes.

So maybe one day if you find yourself lost deep in the forest, Birchthorn might just come to your aid if you have need of him.
