Just a leeeetle' update on my suit. ^^;
Been wracking my brain for FOREVER trying to figure out how to make gloves that would be able to be used while playing guitar, without showing any skin (Like some musician-fursuiters I've seen in the past)
I just so happened to stumble across these "Guitar-Gloves" that were actually designed for... well, the obvious! Unfortunately they don't come in the exact color that I'd like, nor do they come with a thumb (So the glove can be worn on either hand for alternate-handed guitarists)... but in any case, this is the best solution I've come up with so far.
And surprisingly... it WORKS....
The guitar-gloves on their own actually function rather seamlessly when I play, so it was just a matter of somehow 'blending' them in with the rest of my suit! (of course, still working on that, but STILL)
After all the time working on my suit THIS was the one thing that I've always worried about in the back of my mind... if it was possible, how difficult it would be to make, if it would be too cumbersome or impractical to actually perform with...
Lets put it this way, i'll be lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep before work today because of being so excited with the results :D (and not to mention the time spent just trying to make it ^^; )
If any fellow guitarists are interested in the guitar-gloves themselves, they can be found here: https://www.originalguitarfingers.com
my ONLY complaint about the glove itself is that the 'light-weight' styled gloves that I ordered are pretty sensitive to any rough surface (INCLUDING hang-nails and guitar-frets that aren't flush with the neck) and give way to micro-frays fairly quickly... and only come as single gloves :P
BUT aside from that, I'd actually RECOMMEND them to anyone that might need some extra protection to their fingertips, and a GREAT solution for performing in-suit! ^.=.^

yestarday I went ahead and tried the head on while practicing and though I was able to play my viola, the lack of vision from my left side (Im very right eye dominant) ment that I couldnt see where to place my hand for the notes. the vision of the head restricted me too much to play any good notes. I even tried the best I could at getting my fingers over the "learner" tape by feel and that didnt even work.
Oh definitely! And yeah, unless its like, industrial-rubber or something, guitar-strings would rip em' to shreds :P
I actually wish there was a better way to get the word-out there for other musicians for this product! (not that I'm like... endorsing them or anything, but still!)

Oh, totally overlooked the paws on your photo's so I didn't even noticed till now xD
I just love how unique your Fursuit is, wouldn't be something for my taste but definitely amazing work. Do you know how much time approximately you had to build it?
Well then you're definitely playing too less guitar :P

Well im really glad you like it!
All in all, it took about 3 months to get the head and hands n made, thats also working full-time and building only a few days out of the week, and the hair itself took the longest, probably about a month since I was working with loose hair and making my own wig, the newest tail I re-built in about 2 days though! Been working on and off building wings in my spare time for several weeks as well :P
