When Ellisa was born, Nathan just couldn't even bare to steal from her and loves hiss little sister dearly, and both have an unbreakable bond, even as children. However, one night, when she went with the Skylanders to help them stop Nightshade from stealing the Eternal Dark Source. It was during the battle between the thief and the Skylanders, his mask was accidently removed, which shocked his sister, learning that her older brother Nathan is the Doom Raider Nightshade, without a word he went off.

Ellisa later traveled to the Golden Temple to see Nightshade, but the Golden Queen does not want her to pass, and sends the other Doom Raiders to attack her, but were stopped by Nightshade. Ellisa doesn't care if he's a villain, as he still cares about him a lot because Nightshade is her brother.
