i finally did it! ive mounted my first squirrel! i screwed up a bit, i know, like how the bkack rubbed off her eyes when i slid the head in, and how the mouth tore when i put the head in, and i probably used more pins than i needed XD anyway, we'll see how she looks when she's dry, i know shes far from the best, but i learned a lot, but next time im gonna use real taxidermy supplies x3 and not use clay for the head, that was a mistake, because when i found out i made the head too big it was hard to go back and shave it, but with what i learned i think i can do a fox, i mean, most of my screw ups were with the head shape and im gonna use a real taxidermy head and eyes on my fox. anyway, i dont think she's absolutely terrible for a first mount, and once i get her eyes repainted she's actually pretty cute, i think i like this whole mounting process, i probably wont sell any taxidermy but making it is pretty fun, i hope to make more (better) soft mounts in the future
