Ryuu Journals: Entry # 11 Rearranged
As I mentioned in the last page, here in the first drawing, I am instructing the new guys on what to do. It feels good to be looked up to and have others follow in your example. I was also helped by the RA (she said good things about me).
The middle drawing represents the outside of the dorm and how the whole walkway was completely covered in ice. Not a good day for walking.
The bottom left is quite a story to tell.
I came home from work and was relaxing for a while. My "play" wife, Celeste, was at work. There was a knock at the door, I was supprised when I answered. It was a friend of mine, Jim (his name is James but I like to call him Jim). Jim is one of my furs that I have yet to introduce here yet. You all will get to meet him one day.He was in the worst shape I had ever seen him. His clothes didn't fit him at all and they were worn out. I let him in then I asked:
Ryuu: Jim? What's with the clothes?
Jim: These? Oh, they're not mine..
Ryuu: Your-
Jim: Trory (my "play" name) it's really bad!
Ryuu: I can see that
Jim: No, my appartment! My appartment burned down!
Ryuu: Were you in it or something, you look awful.
Jim: No, the place had burned down by the time I got back and everything inside was ruined with smoke and water. Everything is ruined!
Ryuu: Oh, that's terrible
Jim: This was yesterday and I was given clothes.
Ryuu: Oh
Jim: I came here because I need your help
Ryuu: Let me guess, you want to stay here for a while
Jim: Only until I can get myself together
Ryuu: I see
Jim: But that's not all
Ryuu: Okay
Jim: I need you to pay for the damages for me and... I didn't have insurance.
Ryuu: Uh..Okay *trying to keep composure* how much are we talking and for how long.
I forgot how much it was but it was quite a bit so he tells me and also said that he didn't know how long it would be for. Then I said
Ryuu: Well, if it were up to me I'd say alright but I have to consult my wife first. In the mean time, you can stay and get yourself together okay?
This picture represents me speaking to Celeste about the situation.
The last drawing is a sketch of the new dorm (my permanent dorm) I moved into. It was really nice one other from my class moved in with me but not in the same room. He was really scared about the whole thing because of the rumors that dorm recieved that have been going around. He was ready to leave and everything.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I was terminated from work because of a change in technology so I also had to explain that to her.
"Darn it! There goes our savings!"

Sure do. It was an incident that was given to me on a card that I blew up and turned into a full story adding characters and details here and there. It would have been super boring if I just read the card and answered it.
I can't believe I was doing so well and I was fired (or as they said "terminated" trying to make the letter sweet) over changes in technology. The craziest thing is that out of the team I worked with, I was the one fired!
"What tha-!"
Anyways, it was pretty messed up but as I mentioned, Celeste is always really calm and collected. She heard the story and didn't get really bent out of shape over it. It's really great to have someone believe in you and give incouragement at hard times. My friend's issue happened the day before I was fired.
"Great timing Jim!" (not really)
