Seriously, though, this really is a really fitting outfit for her, in more ways than just physical. :V The black dress suits her both in color since it matches her usual leggings, and in material/look since it matches the tightness of said leggings, and swapping the bows in her hair for little ties helps to make her come off as more formal. The gold bangles and bits match her brown fur while also emphasizing the dress, too (black contrasting gold, etc), which makes them a perfect choice. You did good!

Oh man...ya know I never really looked that deep into it! However I did try to emulate her skirts material here. Glad to see you liked the composition here! That's usually something I don't think I'm tooo great at haha

Heheh, to be honest, I can't tell a lot of the time if I'm overthinking things or if the stuff I see is intentional, so I just end up saying what sticks out to me. :3p You did a great job with the colors and composition, though, and that's for sure!
