Thanks! I haven't drawn in a while, so I had some pent-up drawing to get out. It drains out after a while, lol.

lol well that's alright. I'll get motivation to try drawing once in a while, but when I go to try... Nothing goes according to plan XD. Still trying to get used to my tablet, but I can't even draw a smooth curve on it yet. My hand isn't steady enough yet. Guess I just need more practice ^-^;

They have recycled sketchpads now! I think Canson brand calls them "Windpower" or something. They're more expensive for less pages though. =/
Definitely start with the basics. It's a lot easier to use real medium and THEN jump into the digital stuff. Photoshop and programs like it all use the same concept as real medium, but learning it is...well..more technical. Using real medium is more hands-on and overall just easier to figure out what you're doing. Makes it easier to troubleshoot the digital stuff later, too.

Man, why is it that fanart and requests of Evil Egg always look better than when I draw him?

Different interpretation? Different style? Sometimes people draw characters in their own style, which is usually different than what the original owner is able to do. LoL, whenever I try to copy styles, it's usually a fail.

Maybe... though I suspect it's just because I'm crap. You and all the others to have tackled EE have done exceedingly well, but I can't even get him right half the time.
