The Jelzyra Rune represents the element most frequently associated with flora. Jelzyra can be associated with growth, regeneration, cleansing and life. It is most valued for its healing properties.

The Jelzyra Rune consists of a central circle, with 4 equally sized outer circle segments of 240°, beginning and ending at the central circle and intersecting with one another. The angles contained within this rune are 120°, 90° and 60°. This symmetrical rune has 4 axes of symmetry, and a rotational symmetry of 90°.

Jelzyra is usually associated with plantlife of any kind, and on a larger scale, with life in general. It can also be used offensively, but being the single one element with the most powerful healing properties, it is mostly favoured by healers, combat medics, and other medical Iserialogists (especially in conjuncture with Yaera, for its conservational effects). However, treatment with Jelzyra - while highly effective - is usually painful for animals. This is a result of the fundamental differences between plantlife and animals, and the pain scales directly with the intensity of the treatment, meaning that healing serious wounds or curing severe ailments is very painful for the patient.

On the other hand, Jelzyra is quite effective when used on plantlife, and also animals with a high affinity to Jelzyra, such as the Dragons or Draykin of the Jelzyra-Clan or Flora-affine Sprites. It can also be used to manipulate plants to grow into certain shapes - a technique extensively used by the nature-loving people of Ventana to build entire living villages.
