The Lyra Rune represents the element most frequently associated with light. Lycro can be associated with purity, enlightenment, exposure, and penetration. It is a straightforward element that can be used for many different purposes.

The Lyra Rune consists of a circle with eight lines extending outwards radially. It is highly symmetrical with 8 axes of symmetry, as well as a 45° rotational symmetry. All angles contained in this rune are 90°.

Lyra is the one element most often associated with the concept of Good. However, this is a fatal misconception. Lyra is an element that reveals and exposes, and used in excess, can quickly lead to a point where it impedes on the right of privacy and cancels out the (ironically named) white lies essential to keep a complex society running. In fact, many conflicts have been caused by groups overly reliant on Lyra going on an inquisition against the "forces of darkness", causing massive amounts of bloodshed.

That being said, Lyra is an element that mandates moderation. It is as much of a beast as its opposite - Haerinero - and requires either other elements to balance it, or a good amount of willpower to avoid going down the path of a zealot. Used correctly, however, it can enrich an Iserialogist's life, and lead him/her to a bright future.
