Ryuu Journals: Entry # 5 Is that...Carmen!?!
Well it was Saturday which meant I got to stay in and chill!! No waking up at 5am or worrying about cleaning because one of the rules of the dorms is that every morning we have to clean our rooms (sweaping, mopping, everything clean everyday) then we had to clean the whole lobby.
About this drawing, I saw this girl at dance practice that had the same figure and build as one of my characters. It was crazy! Everytime I saw her, I thought of Carmen. I had to tell (I had no visual reference with me on center) so I drew this up and showed it to her. Of coarse she mentioned the differences between her and Carmen but although she isn't there on paper, she looks a specific way in my mind and my plan is to get them to look that way as best I can. I get closer and closer though.
It was horrifying to find out that, just like Bowie State University, Job Corps. has brunch on weekends. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the Caf. Staff need their time off but whom ever came up with the brunch thing was crazy. Also on a weekend?! The weekend is the time when I actually sit down and take the time to eat. I cannot maintain my happy and energetic ways with only two meals.

Yeah but it didn't quite compare to the girl back at Bowie who sound like Alissa (the voice Alissa has in my mind) I mean if I closed my eyes and listened to her speak I could sort of feel a bit of Alissa there. It was cool, sometimes I'd ask her to say things just to hear her voice.
I love to eat breakfast in the morning so much that I am a bit irritated when I miss it. I hate waiting until 9 or 10 just to eat. and no matter how much I try to eat, it doesn't replace the breakfast that I missed.
It's as if my mind and body was trained, as a child, to eat at least three meals a day and breakfast being the most important. I never missed breakfast.
I guess brunch is okay to have if you miss breakfast but I wish it was an option instead. I hate trying to eat breakfast and lunch at the same time. A big late meal doesn't satisfy as well as two average meals.
..but that's just me.

You know what, that's probably what I'll end up doing when I get out on my own because it's so annoying eating all the time. It feels like a waist of time. It's like having to take the dog out every day or something.
