After owning BMWs since I was old enough to drive, I don't think I'd ever buy a BMW again. I'd wait a little longer, and save up a little more, until a Hartge, Schnitzer, or Alpiiina <3 version of the car. Schnitzer's 1 Series convertible is faster on a track than BMW's best efforts with the hard-top M3 - if I were part of BMW I don't know if I'd be happy with that, spending millions developing a car, only to have a tuning company come along, take all the research and testing for the price of the car, then make something better, and offer it at minimal premiums above the price of either rival companies or parent companies. For that reason it makes no sense to buy a standard BMW.

I wouldn't buy any BMW, because I know how much it will cost to repair it if it breaks.
BMW does have some nice cars though.

I had a teacher who had a boss, if you own a M3 bring a checkbook if you buy a M5 bring 2 checkbooks. They sound nice but I wouldn't buy one new. Now an Audi hell I'd buy one new.

Audi...Hell yeah I'd take anyone of 'em, except the Q7 SUV. I especially want the A3, A5 or (if finances allow)R8.
