Well, two pages I guess!
Apologies for non Furry stuff! I just wanted to prove I was still alive, though kind of trapped under a bunch of pics that aren't quite good enough to avoid being thrown into Scraps!
I've been bashing my brains out against a wall trying to make myself sit down and really either learn something new in Photoshop or at least finish some sketches started in OC. As kind of a "break" I went and got myself some new RL arts stuff, a Copic fine black pen and some mechanical pencil stuff so I could broaden my sketchbook from just plain pencils to things a bit bolder or varied in texture.
This is kind of the result, trying to avoid my usual rut of nervously drawing lion/panda heads and shoulders for page after page.
I'm hoping that the more I experiment and draw outside of the "genre", the more relaxed I'll be and the smoother the ink will flow, digitally as well as in RL.

Thanks! Your real media pics have really inspired me to try and make my sketchbook a more substantial investment of time, inking more things mean more sketchbook pages look interesting or "finished" like this. Drawing human faces a lot at the minute, practice makes perfect! ^.^
And I figured I'd do a little roll call of doctor who villains, so there's a Sontaran, a Silurian, a Sea Devil and a Cyberman concept as well (I hate the new "alternative reality" cybermen; they make no sense damnit!) =3

Whee! Thank you! After your face tutorial I actually have been drawing lots of humans in my sketchbook. They're still a bit wobbly, but are way better than what I could do a couple of years ago, I think. I just bought a bunch of copic markers to experiment with, flesh tones ahoy! But then I realized I need to buy ones that actually would be suitable for clothes and hair, too! Whoops!
