Kyubee's species: Base analysis
Kyubee is, well, a giant Queen Bee. Aside from the enlarged abdomen, crown, and functional reproductive organs, all of her species have her abilities. I even justified her breasts in this.
I am tempted to draw the different kinds of worker bees in her hive:
Nurses: Raise the young. Filled out body so they can produce the Royal Jelly the larvae need to start growing.
Gatherers: Lanky and fuzzy with a pot-belly and strong wings to maximize gathering. Tend to run on senses other than sight, so their eyes are frequently blocked by their bushy head of hair.
Soldiers: Big and tough, though the advance in technology and various treaties means that only an elite force of them is useful; others are often assigned other roles.
Builders: Hardy and tough with large abdomens to help them produce the pulp and beeswax needed to build though, again, a lot of it has been automated. Many now focus on honey production.
Queen's Attendants: Bring her food and oversee her daily egg-laying, though this role has also been defined as "Upper Management".
Queen: Kyubee here! Lays eggs to grow and maintain the hive. This takes so much effort that she actually has little influence on her hive's business and management; she simply doesn't have time.
Drones: The males. Make up less than 1% of the population and only live long enough to procreate, their bodies transferring numerous nutrients and hormones into the queen. Even those who don't mate die within a year.
