Okay, so, it's been months since this image was taken... And I've been putting off updating the situation because I had hoped by now I would know more but these lovely hives haven't gone away.
I haven't had another outbreak like this one, luckily but that's hardly good news. I suffer from them on some level, pretty much daily. Lately I've had some new symptoms... fatigue, dizziness and also an inability to concentrate. I am still functioning, still able to get things done but I may seem a little slow to understand messages or be more forgetful.
I hope you guys can understand that I have the best intentions though and will still provide you with quality pieces.
I had blood work done a little over a week ago and everything came back 100%normal. So, still no answers. Today, just being home, mostly resting and working on art... I have taken two allegra and have quite a lot of hives.

Ummmmmm... Have you ever had chicken pox?
That rash looks an awful lot like the one I had when I got Shingles...
If you have mouth wash, try applying it to a small section to see if it helps, sounds weird, but aside from hospital grade pain killers, it was the ONLY thing that helped me.
If it is Shingles, the mouth wash will help the pain and itch, if it's not, you'll smell minty fresh! Win win!
Good luck.
You may want to consider using calamine lotion for any itch too.
I wish you the best. ={

From what I know, there is a specific Shingles test, it only tests for that one thing.
My Shingles was stress induced, so it's possible. Maybe ask your doctor, just in case? Unless it's something you've already checked for. Though Shingles is usually something attributed to over persons, like 60-70 years old, not usually in spring chickens like us.

It can vary greatly. Most people only get them on one hand of nerves, and it straps around one side or the other, some people get just a little cluster of them (I was in this group), and still others can get it from head to toe.
For some people of its debilitatingly painful, and for others there is little to no pain. For some it can disappear with the stress that caused it, and for some it can linger for a long time. It IS possible for what you have to be Shingles. You just may be one of the ones that got the full body rash with little to no pain. Lucky but unlucky at the and time.

hives are often times caused by heat from the ones i have had and my dad has had some really huge hives on him before. i barely get em but i dont know what all can cause em so it coudl be heat or maybe some allergy but im sure they would have ruled out allergies by now.
I have pressure sensitive hives, and ones that respond to extreme temperature change. Smaller ones during winter / in response to cold, and larger, more swollen ones in response to heat.
Yeah, we definitely don't think it is a matter of an allergic reaction. I've had them all day today and I've been inside, out of the cold... Resting. Three allegra later and I still have new hives popping up.

I absolutely cannot stand any kind of skin irritation. From mosquito bites to hives, hate them all.
So uhh...I hope this information helps you:
I got diagnosed with chronic urticaria (kind of a sick thing to happen to someone who hates skin irritation, eh?) caused by some kind of weird blood auto immune disease. My skin looked almost identical to yours, I wasn't getting much sleep and was definitely afraid of wearing clothes.
The cure was a simple solution of Zyrtec. Once a day. If I didn't take the pill, it would all come right back. But after about a 2 months of taking it everyday, I guess my body eventually learned how to handle the problem and they went away.
I'll still get flare ups every now and then, maybe like twice a year if that, but taking the Zyrtec rids it within hours.
I hope it helps...and if not, I sincerely hope it gets fixed soon.

Yeah, this all sounds very familiar. I'm going to see my allergist again March 22nd, unless things get really bad.
I've taken Allegra, Claritin and Zyrtec. Claritin worked the best for me, at first... But now I'm thinking I may be building up an immunity to it. Hoping I can eventually get to the point you're at where it's more controlled and happens less frequently.
Thank you by the way, hope yours stay away as much as possible!

Holy shit dude... I am sorry to hear about this, thankfully the outbreaks have kept to a partial low, but still... that pic makes me want to get you a 5 gallon bucket of aloe! Just take it easy, your health and comfort comes first long before anything else, and if anyone bitches, put them in their place!
