So this is another acrylic badge. I'm rather happy with it to be honest, the only problem is I went kinda flaky on the color of Jabbers skin.
In his discription he's stated as being a dark mauve. . .but I remembered his other badge being a kind of .. shall I say 'brilliant' pink - I was torn between what I remembered on his other badge and what the discription actually said.
I did the discription thinking that it was the safer choice, but I'm still worried that he'll hate it because the color's actually pink.
I'm such a blithering worry wart.
Anyway I had a lot of fun with this guy. Especially his wings. Actually the one part I was really dreading was the wings. . .but I found I actually enjoyed that part most of all.
I've still got a 8.5x11 to do for hom so Jabbers will appear again, and based on wether his owner tells me pink or darkmauve in the reply e-mail, I think he may be less tanned next time.
Acrylic, color pencil and white chalk.
Side Note: JabberWocky worked ArtRoom and Artist Alley Staff for RCFM. He was a literal gem. At the artist alley staff members asked us if we'd like to make any donations for the staff apriciation drawings. Seeing that if there was no staff there would be no con I like to be a generous as possible. People like Jabber give thier time and energy to really make Con's enjoyable for everyone, and just handing them a print that cost me 2 buck to print off at kinko's isn't really much of a thankyou in my eyes. Jabbers drew my prize, which was an acrylic badge and 8.5x11 commision free of all charges including shipping. I plan to continue this prize for all cons that I am able to attend in hopes that staffers will realize that we congoers do in fact very much appriciate all they do *steps off soapbox*

What's funny is, I'm actually sunburnt to hell and back from pushing carts at Target for four hours daily. x.=.x
I think you did a lovely job, despite the color. I am a fan of bright and shiny and neon and OMG TECHNO RAVE LOL ...oh, sorry. What? Erm, yeah, you did a great job! Thank you for dedicating your talent to an undeserving dragon. ^.=.^
