Endless Realms bestiary - Shadow Dragon Scion
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
In the game, dragons are, essentially, lesser gods - one for each major cosmic force and elemental power. Scions are earthly avatars of their will, and are generally much less powerful than the dragon they represent, as a dragon may create many lesser clones of itself to send out upon tasks, yet scions remain amongst the most powerful creatures to be found in the world.

So what I do before each time I look at your pictures is to... well, look at and interpret the pics, then I look to see if I get it right :P
Looked like a large evil shadow crow that could do unspeakable things (hell I don't know his abilities, I don't wanna find out xD)
but I do get the dragon not that I look more closely at his face... its a bit hard to see... and his wings have the claw tip thing as well, I'd just make the face more prevalent or add another perspective on this creature... maybe more tail? Although its really hard to draw this creature without a setting or background given the creature at hand xD
and I always feel bad nitpicking things after you finish these wonderful finished products... but... merp.

Now how does one fight the shadows?
Does one light a bigger and brighter pyre? To banish the Darkness away yes... Yet blind yourself to the dangers that lurk just beyond the light...
Does one light a single naked flame? One single guide easily extinguished.... But a representation of hope, and defiance in the face of adversity...
Or does one embrace the Shadow, and stalk the night as one with the darkness?... Perhaps damming yourself... Or providing your salvation.
