Dream classic muscle car are either a '69 Shelby or a '66 Corvette Stingray (both not likely though). New on the other hand is a 2009 Corvette ZR-1.

them zr's are sweet. I've got my eyes on a 2010 mustang gt though, they FINALLY put stability control into the mustangs.. :) zr's have had that for.. damn. 5 years now?

To be honest, the Corvette I get probably won't be a ZR-1, little pricey. As long as it's a Corvette I don't really care what trim line it is.

I know a few folks who have zr1s , they *ARE* super nice cars.. though if I had that kind of money, I'd probably lean towards a dodge viper. I SOOooooo love the look of that car. ALthough with the side vents on teh front of the zr1 nowadays, they are getting a lot towards the same look. I drive by a chevy lot every day from work and I kinda drool over them nice corvettes they have there. AH well. ALl I need to do is win the lottery, then I can just have one of each! 8) LOL!

I had the same chance you did for a classic car, only the one I would've bought was being fully restored by a neighbor and it was a '68 Mustang Coupe. Unfortunately, that neighbor moved away before he finished it so I couldn't get it.

bummer, the 68 was a good year. Was the first year they had the collapsible steering colum so that it wouldn't go through your chest in a front end collision. ;) a friend gave me a 67 mustang with a 351boss in it.. yup, 351boss.. a d2ae block, the ones they used for the factory replacement of the d1ze block. The only thing worth saving on that car was the front end and the engine though. Still have the block. Still not sure what to do with it though. :/

that same neighbor also restored a Ford Fairlane, can't remember the year and occasionally drag raced a restored '71 Cougar Eliminator. He told me he would be buried in that car after I asked if he was selling it.
