The image on the left was drawn in 2006, when I was 16 years old. ( micron pens, crayola colored pencils. )
And the image on the right was drawn just now, in 2016. ( paint tool SAI, wacom tablet. )



I urge artists, if you think your art isn't improving, take some time to look back on how far you've come.


In 2006, I originally made this character ( Maharu ) because I was so inspired by Samurai Champloo, which was my favorite anime at the time. Though, I was obviously still experimenting with my style.
