This was done as a request for  Michael95. I decided to use this as an opportunity to experiment in ZBrush a little, giving its Fibermesh feature a shot! The results are... not as good as I'd have hoped, as the tools used to generate and groom the hair are very imprecise and, in the case of the latter, often mess up things while you're trying to use them to fix something else. Thus, I ended up with a lot of scraggles, bald patches and lines and very little hair around the ears. Not to mention that this turntable took a full hour to render, among other things.

Frustrations aside, it was still fun to experiment, and while I don't think I'll be using Fibermesh much in the future (due to the fact that I want to work in Maya more than ZBrush for things like renders), it was a nice way to get my feet wet with procedural geometry and such. And maybe there's some way to groom hair that makes it just a dream and I've totally missed it, as is sometimes the case with ZBrush woes.
