This is a new OC of mine called Dragsaw; an anthro Deathclaw. He became this after soaking up too much radiation contaminated with Deathclaw DNA, turning him into this.

This creature was once known as Sergeant Toby Samuel, a very skilled and respectable soldier during his days in the military. However, due to his rare blood type, he was selected to be a subject for a series of tests that require his blood type. Despite refusing, Toby joined the experiment...the hard way. The scientists knocked him out and undergone all tests strapped to a table.
However, the final test was a big one. It was a laser test that if proven successful would merge two lifeforms into one (metaphorically. It would give the dominating species enhanced senses and increased strength) but if it went wrong, then the subject would likely mutate from the laser. And to top it all off; it was filled to the brim with pure radiation, so no matter how the experiment ends, Toby will have radiation in his body
So they fired the laser on Toby and it turned out to be a success...for a few seconds until the radiation kicked in and managed to transform Toby into a huge, hulking lizard.
When he heard the orders to open fire, not only did he kill everyone inside the building, but he did a huge number on the machines too. So much that the facility initiated a self destruct. Toby made it out in time but ince he has no clue where he is, getting home is going to be tricky since...well, the facility was in the middle of a barren wasteland (Nevada desert).
He was then scared that even if he did manage to return home, the residents would panic and would shoot him on site. So, he kept on the remains of his military uniform, looked for the biggest cave and made a new home.
However, he wasn't alone. A few of his friends managed to find him by accident and didn't attack because they saw Toby's name plate on his Jacket. They didn't want to stay in case Toby was hostile but they helped get Toby's belongings and moved them into his cave.
When they said goodbyes, Toby only said this; ''I'm not Toby anymore...call me...Dragsaw''.

Dragsaw is not like the feral version. He still has his intelligence along with his sense of morale, but his primal instincts kick in at times and he can often be hazardous due to his radiated body.
Due to the transformation, his speech has suffered a little. He sometimes misses connectives and usually refers to people in third tense. Despite his huge and bulking figure, he does try to be kind and gentle to earn people's trust. He achieves this by helping in any way he can, looking harmless such as having his hands behind his back or pulling off ''cute'' faces and trying to make people laugh...to no avail.
He does occasionally have some primal times though. One time he was fixing his boot laces, then he suddenly gnawed most of them with his teeth before coming back to his senses. And that is how his boot laces got broken ^^'
He does have primal instincts in general. He likes to relax on his back, he sometimes rolls around in the sand, he eats with his hands and does so in a messy way, he growls a lot but mostly for no reason and he sometimes communicates with grunts and whimpers.
He's still Toby Samuel inside there, but now he has to embrace the fact he's now known as Dragsaw.

Dragsaw is a normal deathclaw but his skin can change from normal to red/green/blue so he's half normal/half chameleon. He wears desert tiger camo shirt & pants while his pads, belt & boots are black. His eye colour is red and his claws & horns are grey
