lol its just a matter of whether or not i use refs typically. the better the reference i use the better i can draw. when i draw without refs it looks hella toony and shit lol which aint bad but eh i kinda dig drawing from real life dogs or whatever species im using

uh when you said you use refs or not how your style comes out differently, i like how you draw this way. Your cartoony style is tight too though.
