Today is Valentine's Day. It is also a bitter cold, numbing freezing winter day that will freeze all the fur hairs off of a dog.
Good thing these dogs decided that the best method of getting warm is to come together and cuddle with one another while snowed inside a cabin somewhere. How smart..... and romantic!
I decided to paint their clothing red as well as painting most of everything else in red, pink, purple and white to play up the theme of Valentine's Day. Funny thing, I almost thought of painting the gun hanging in the background pink and red, but quickly decided to paint it in normal colors because of a pinkish gun would be too silly.
And that's a phonograph, or as we used to call them back when I was a child, a record player they're playing the music from. I just like to have things old fashioned here. Besides, those vinyl records are making something of a comeback these days, the last I've heard of them.....
Anyway, have a Happy Valentine's Day and keep warm as possible!
