Started out as a composition practice, then it turned into a perspective practice (I guess?), and then a lightning struck and internet was gone (among a bunch other shit that couldn't handle the voltage spike), and I had no rest for an entire week- BUT I somehow managed to pick it up again today and threw the colors in.
I never thought of a backstory to this picture or anything, I was just listening to the Resident Evil 3 soundtrack and I kinda decided I was drawing Holly.
also i don't know why but for the first time it kinda looks better when you mirror it, for some reason, but that's probably just me

Anyway: It's pretty obvious that you put a lot of effort into this picture. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I especially like those droplets of blood running down her antennas(?). They're a nice touch that many would've overlooked.
And that red herb... It makes me think of Harvest Moon or maybe Rune Factory. I prefer the latter, being a big RPG-buff. :D

Because of certain drawings you'd done of her I always thought of her as a kind adorable undersea horror creature. With this piece I just think the monster is her dad and this is just the games they play :3
Her dad is a olden god abomination that works on special effects for movies and likes to plan trips with his daughter on the weekends.
Also just noticed the RE touches of the red herb and the test tube pic. Very nice :D
