Personally, I thought it was a big joke for a while...

I still held out hope for it, God help me, I really did. I'm just THAT ignorant sometimes.

But I take comfort in the fact that it still is a big joke, at least to me. I mean, you can't make something that bad and far removed from it's source material without the whole thing being a big joke. Then you add the fact that the show lost popularity, like, a decade ago and you've got a real timebomb waiting for the box-office on your hands.
