After getting some great feedback from an online art group, I've made some changes to the sketch.

-Camera zoomed out a bit to allow for more of the body/sword to be seen.
-Sword actually looks like a samurai sword now (huge thanks to  PeterAndCompany for an excellent sword reference pic)
-Right arm now covers up the right side of his chest (as it should in this pose)
