So I've wanted to take another crack at this one for a while and finally got around to it. Bit of backstory to this one.
Gargoyles was an amazing animated series that ran from 1994 to 1997, featuring complicated and well written characters, a detailed mythology and amazing designs (and a lot of Star Trek TNG actors in the case didn't hurt either). If you haven't seen it, the first few seasons are definitely worth a watch.
One of the most standout episodes in my (slightly biased) opinions is the Mirror, which sees Elisa Maza, the badass human police officer of the group, transformed into a gargoyle herself. It was an interesting shift in the dynamic of the group up to that point and would have been cool to see it developed further and see how this would affect the relationships between the characters and Elisa's own reaction to this sudden change. Sadly, for the most part the episode focused on the chaos magic of the trickster, Puck, as the situation continued to spiral out of control. My biggest issue was that the Elisa we knew, the human detective who finds herself pulled into a world of high fantasy and befriended a group whose species was feared as monsters, doesn't really get to react to her change of circumstances on the other side of the species line, instead replaced by what essentially was an alternate world version of herself who was always a gargoyle. The episode was still a lot of fun, but it seemed to be lacking something.
My basic goal for this picture is to show a world where Elisa is once again transformed into a gargoyle, but retains her memories as a human. I had a lot of fun with this one, even though it didn't come out quite like I wanted it to. I may make a sequence of it in the future though. We'll see!

Ohmigosh such a blast from the past <3 Gosh thank you for the reminder <3
A few close friends of mine and I were watching it again recently, super fun and well put together show <3 I'm actually legitimately surprised how much stuff like this was in it, that is to say things turning into other things <3 We kinda have pet theories on that (someone at didney really likes transformation maybe? x3)
Also, excellent work <3

No problem! Always happy to help!
There really is quite a lot of TF in it and usually pretty well done as well. I really wouldn't be surprised if your theory has merit. Lots of Disney stuff often has TF elements, but Gargoyles really stands out in that category (it doesn't hurt that it was awesome without it as well)
