I won't get into anything too mushy here, but for the first time in a long time, I can honestly say there is not a single bit of stress in my life aside from work and the usual day to day. It was shocking to be sitting at my computer, Iris eating potstickers aside from me and watching a new anime, to realize that. I understand and preach that all relationships come with compromise and a bit of stress IS a good thing because it will mold and iron you out like an unfinished sword, but...there is none of that. just giggly happiness and a look ahead, to the summer, to the fall, and everything beyond that. Everyday she tells me how happy she is that I accept her for all her quirks and I look at her and say, 'lady, you are DEFINITELY getting the short end of the stick here.' (She thinks a slight anime obsession ((it's really not)) and an interest in cosplay make her...odd).

But here's to you, mah roo, thank you for accepting ME for who I am.

Even if it drives you crazy that I like to leave cabinet drawers open.
