Aektal is an rarity of an Tengu for being an open heart'ed explorer who never shies from the promise of adventure. To others, he is an picky worded person who tries to ease humor into any matter to ease off the general prejudice many have towards his kind. Those many he calls friends are greatly coveted and one could say he treasures each and everyone as extensions of his family.
In combat he wields an sentient Black Blade he has inherited from his family, combined with an lethal dose off combat magics that turn the unimpressive adventurer into an whirlwind of lethality, striking from every angle, summoning literal thunder into his graceful strikes and manifesting mirror images in his liking.

An Tengu Magus I made in an ongoing Mythic Pathfinder game. It has been fun for now and I do greatly enjoy playing an character who feels nearly naturally like me in terms of personality. Curious, closed off but open mouthed when feeling comfortable. XD
The blade and armor were a bitch to draw, but I think I puled off in an acceptable manner. Give me your thoughts!

Now, I like this piece and here are the reasons why:
The kanji on the cuffs of the bracers, the little feathers on his chest, the others on his neck; the scales of his feet and hands...
The little attention to detail is what I like.
Now, for constructive criticism... The only thing I can say is that some lines are too light and others are too dark. I like most of your lines and think they are quite good but with the upper chest/lower neck area, I feel like all of the little feathers except for the last row should have been lighter. Subtle detail to please the eye but not so prominent to draw your eye to it.
Hope that makes sense!
