It took me a total of 12 hours to complete this masterpiece. I work at an art studio, so I drew and painted this portrait of myself...well...my alter-ego self anyway. It shows how I think of my fancy and luxurious imagination. I also did the intricate wallpaper design by hand with a stencil I made. The stencil was only just a shape of an upside down water drop! First I traced the shape, then I added the rest of the design to each one. The quote "le grand, vénérable" is a French translation of "the great, venerable" as it is what my given name means! It was originally on sale for $75; however, my fellow staff buddies were more than happy to give my mother a discount on it for only $50. The actual portrait is currently hanging on our living room wall; painting finished on August 13, 2013!
