This is an artwork I did for the Art Clash of 2013. I was inspired to paint this by an ItaloBrothers song ("The Moon"), which indeed is why this artwork's title is from the lyrics to that song - "I see the moon coming down for me..."; part of the song, in my opinion, contains musical harmony (0:00-0:35 and 1:35-2:17) that makes you feel like in heaven as you watch the bright moon from outer space, but at the same time it feels like you're on a mission to the moon (0:35-1:17 and 2:18-3:21)! Anyway, this picture wasn't sold for as much as my other one (Aussie Austin) was; however, it was purchased by the same guy who bought mine from the previous year! It was sold in a silent auction for $25. I used acrylic paint for this piece. A friend of mine also participated in this contest!
