Fanart of Madeen, eidolon (summon/esper) from Final Fantasy IX.
My favorite summon of the entire series (second favorite if you count Gilgamesh as a summon).
Especially for being just as strong, but much cooler AND MUCH³ FASTER than Ark.
Also for being badass but still a big friend! AND ALSO FOR BEING A CERTAIN CHARACTER'S FATHER IN ANOTHER GAME!!

Very nice picture. Haven't played the later games of the series, so I can't say anything about this fellow. My personal favorite, however, are in this order:
1. Odin (I like Norse Mythology and he insta-kills most enemies)
2. Bahamut in all its forms (of which in FF VII alone there are three)
3. Knights of the Round (for sheer badassery - cuz little is as badass as a group of 13 knights beating the crap out of your opponent)
