Hey all,
This is a diorama I'm working on at present. It's, technically, part of a larger project for my Roaring Creek Narrow Gauge mini-layout. The idea is to practice scenery techniques as well as hand laying track. As you can see I already have my ties and roadbed in place.
The scale is HOn30 and, no... I have not changed scales or gauges! Well for the most part... ^^'
The diorama will feature a station scene with a small depot to one side of the diorama base (right side photo) and a water tank to the other side. (Left side of photo) And in the middle a dirt road crossing. The scene will be further complimented with pine trees made with a simple method of cared balsa wood trunks and dried casipa branches. If I can get my hands on some latex rock molds I may add some small rocks, a boulder or two, or a very large rock outcropping in the background behind the water tank.
I've been enjoying this project so far I'll keep you all posted as things progress!
