For those unaware, I am a Final Fantasy XI player. Among the creatures in that game, there's the mandragora:

Little tiny plant creatures. They're cute and ... I sort of like them (while uploading this, I have an avatar which has the head of a mandragora on it). However my fondness for them reached a new height when the game introduced the "Sunshine Seekers" event. It took place November 10th-25th 2014 ( as far as I know it only happened once....), where you wore a mandragora costume!

SURE, this costume was obviously designed to be worn by the tiny Taru-Taru, but I am far more delighted seeing it worn by my 8 feet tall Elvaan!
It is something I've enjoyed so much that my head had "ideas".... like... what if there was some Mandragora which found a magical pair of shoes, which made it grow into such a form?
So I drew it, tried many tricks and ideas to make it look better, and as my humble nature pushes me to downplay everything, I don't feel like this looks bad. I even had a lot of fun putting this together! This was far easier to make than that Botanical Lion TF sequence I made before. I must have gotten this idea during that November thing, and kept pushing it back, cause a sequence like this sounded like something which would take months to make, but it did actually only take 5, which I'm myself impressed by!
