Originally I started this as a speedpainting last night. Started with a solid soft pink background and just started spattering around colors until a mountain range took form and it all went from there.
I realize the composition isn't very dynamic, but then that is one thing I will be trying to better through my speedpaints.
I also know this isn't my typical subject but I hope that isn't a bad thing as I have so been enjoying these quick loose paintings. You know how sometimes you feel some part of your heart is locked away from your own eyes and once you discover it, you knew what you were missing all along? I think these series of paintings have given me that soothing sense of realization and elation.
Time taken: 4-5 hours
size: 2300x1500 at 200dpi
prints: ? I guess...if there is interest

This looks so beautiful, and the text below... makes it almost touching, tender and somehow magical. Yes, it's as if I could sneak a peek into one's dream and witness a wonderful and phantastic foreign land. So pretty, I hope that you will always unlock the doors to forgetten parts of yourself - the results are too gorgeous to not be put into pictures and be shared (if you like).
Would you mind if I would play around with something a bit like your picture? I don't want to copy it in any way, but I like the choice of colours and the landscape a lot. It makes me want to ... just play around, but if you say, I should leave it out of copyright, I of course will respect that. :)
