A series of doodles I made a few nights ago for last week's submission.
My art skills are still very rusty, but I think Kaffre turned out OK with the characters declining in quality in the approximate order I drew them. I'm not certain, however, to what extent this is a reflection of exhaustion or lack of attention to detail and to what extent it has to do with my having to make the characters smaller to fit. Particularly as I attempted some rather ambitious (for me) poses on Tacki, Yosh-E, and Gem.
In any event, my primary goal was to identify areas I need to work on so that I can attempt some of my more ambitious projects. Based on the experiences drawing this, I think I need to work on my bodies a bit more - the 'bean' shape I've seen recommended so many places does seem to work, but I can't help feeling that I need a bit more practice integrating it with the head so as to give a sense of posture and movement. Likewise, the attachment of arms, legs, and tail to the torso seems like it might benefit from further attention.
What do you think? :listens:

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the faces (more or less). I do think Zee's head is a bit too round and the glasses could use some work, but those are relatively minor things I think. Mostly I wanna get my basic figure drawing skills up to par...
I am, however, very happy that you're pleased with my depiction of Zee-Zee! *hugs*
