Most of my character sketches these days are sucked into the pitiless insatiable maw of my webcomic-to-be, but occasionally a character pops up who won't fit. Dr Kent's an English tutor at Unspecified University in her mid thirties, very bright but held back in career and relationships by crippling shyness.
