I decided to give it a go and put both my original design of my personal mech and  tohofuhai's design side by side.
Mine (on the left) has the head design reflecting my hairdo (I know it's silly but it works) and the visor kinda look more bird-like since it's quite pointy (is more apparent on profile). It has the Dagger crest on it's chest and seems to have a more closed and smooth design.
Now Toho's Design looks cool on his own respect, the head design was simplified, but it gave it a nice Kamen Rider helmet look to it. The visor kept it's base form, but with a smooth front. The mech looks like he has a smooth skin covered or encased by it's armor, giving it a faux-hollow feel and I like it. Where in the original the neck is completely covered, his design has only a thin plate making it look like a collar, and the trapeze pads also look more like the overbelts of my chest harness other than the substitute muscles that my design aimed at. The chest has a complete different shape, the dagger is gone but a cross shaped gap is left in between the chest plates, so the image is still faithfull to the original.
