These guys are/were comic GENIUSES, able to 'sell' a scene with just a grimace.

No offense intended to the upcoming movie, but those gals have some pretty big boots to fill. Although from what I've been able to glean, these four are not just 'Ray, Egon, Peter and Winston with boobs.' they seem to be completely 'new' characters, not 'new interpretations on the old characters.'

We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!

They better remember to split up - they can do more damage that way.

Well Winston wasn't in this scene. He didn't show up until the halfway point of the movie. Maybe you can ask him to do the scene where they're all looking up at the building.

Personally one of the more funniest scenes in the movie in how they're backing away from Ray.

This was still one of my more favorite horror/humor movie of the time.

sadly, after all these years. They do a new Ghostbusters and for no reason. It's supposed to be a remake but with all female actors. They could have much easier just said
it was a satellite franchise in another city with a female workers. It would've been so much simpler and less irritating to all the old fans.

I know what you mean. I was excited when I heard about a Ghostbusters movie, but then that excitement dropped like a rock when I learned it wasn't going to be a sequel, then it was a hard reboot, and then all the pictures and pretty much everything I read about it made me less and less excited for it.
Then watching the actual trailer yesterday, my excitement raised a little bit to the level where I may actually go see it. ALthough if I do, you can bet your tail I'll be wearing my uniform and pack to the theater.

I WILL say this though: The two second shot of Slimer that I saw, the little spud looks good.

I'm not the biggest car aficionado. I had never seen a old 1950s ambulance station wagon with fIns other than in the Ghostbusters movie but I found out later on, that is a actual 1950s ambulance that had those fIns factory. a new Dukes of Hazzard movie and using a 2000 and something Dodge charger instead of using the original model vehicleI really don't understand what they're trying to prove. Even when they did a Ghostbusters porno movie a while back they went another way to make most of it like the original movie. I could've understood them doing a reboot movie with new actors and keeping the basic original story and the original vehicle, but I don't understand their interest in doing a all-female cast that even have the same names as the male cast. It just doesn't make any sense. Then again, I still remember that little glimmer of all, a lot of us got in Casper when Dan Aykroyd came running out of the mansion wearing the proton pack.I'm sure a lot of people were thinking it meant that there was going to be a new Ghostbusters movie in the near future
It's the same as they did a new cartoon a few years back. It wasn't so bad, and it proved they could've just as likely done a Ghostbusters next generation type of movie where the storyline took place so many years after the original movie and it be a new cast that would've made perfect sense and would have probably offended fans nearly as much as this particular piece of material. It's like they did Jam live-action movie. And what's the first thing they do? Completely destroy and manhandle the entire premise and story. The only thing they could've done worse was made. The cast transgender's that would've been the only thing that would've pissed off fans of the original cartoon even more.I mean, why the hell was synergy just this annoying little two wheeled robot? They've done so many reboot movies over the years that weren't nearly as twisted and offensive to the original! Kind of makes me worry what's going to come out when they finally do something with Knight Rider. And I think the last Knight Rider series was pretty good. Could've been a lot better
I mean, look at the A-Team movie or the two G.I. Joe movies they weren't that bad by any means. And they weren't nearly as removed from the original premise and storyline.
It's like they're deliberately trying to kick off the entire franchise of fans! It would kind of be like Disney making an announcement that they're going to make a remake of the three 1970s Star Wars movies and for absolutely no reason Darth Vader is a woman, Luke Skywalker is a woman and it being Prince LaY and Chewbacca also being female. Basically, everybody being female, except for one or two characters. I would've had absolutely no problem with there being a female ghost Buster! Part of my issue is why are they trying to make the female Ghostbusters look like feminized men? They all look like women trying to pass themselves off as man. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't look so much like guys. Next, somebody's going to tell me slime or has a pair of double D's And the stay Puff marshmallow Man is wearing a sports bra.
