I got some new markers the other day and I wanted to draw a picture using only the new colours. My friend suggested a mermaid so I made this! It's just a quick drawing, so it does has issues.
I finished it off with white gel pen for detailing, and stardust pen to add some glitter to her hair.

I really like this design! Drawing with markers must be hard, I have been drawing some adopts in this way and some of them were ugly because of my no skill with using markers... Also, I like the way you used white gel pen in the background, It gives a nice effect!
Thanks so much! Using the markers was tough at first, but now that I've gotten more used to it it has been getting easier. I'm used the pencil crayons and with them there's a lot of control, so it took time to practice the constant flow of ink. I'm in love with the white gel pen
I was worried about that too, but I use the markers on printer paper, sketchbook paper, and Bristol, and they work fine on all of them. Sketchbook seems the best so far.
I'd just recommend doing a quick bleed test on a scrap of the paper you plan to use, since they all have different ratios.
