Adamant Collector Finished
Art trade with Oujin, which features her character Malkyn - who is a Male Zyatrilia! This is the first project I have done with my new version of Illustrator (cs2 because it's free vs 10.0.1 lol) Hopefully it turned out decent!
This took me a lot longer to get done than I had hoped for, but in the end I got it done so I'm happy, I hope oujin will like it!

^.^ Your reaction totally made this 110% worth the effort! I really couldn't figure out how to get his personality into it through a frontal view, so I atttttempted to throw in a smirk (hard to do when he's so dark, but I tried lol). I was originally going to have him frowning at the authority figure things but I figured this and the eyes looking at the loot looked better :P
I wasn't sure if I should try to shade it or not, so I decided against it... I figure his dark skin would be ok as-is, and I wasn't really sure how it'd take to highlights without looking plastic-y.... HEY, in the end if you like it I'm super happy! :D
