so, call me cheep, but i using clay to make the head, honestly, i just want to see if i can actually make it work, this isnt the regular clay you bake, like i was originally going to use (but didn't because i realized you can stick pins in hard clay) but instead im using the soft air dry clay, and im going to mount her before the clay is completely dry so i can get pins in it, so, yeah, i hope this works, if not ill get an actual foan head and use this one for a poseable art doll

anyway, what do you think of this head? im kinda going for a "cute" expression, anything i need to alter? i have been looking at reference of forms and live squirrels while making it, and measuring it up to the pelt, so i didnt do it blind, but ill happily accept constructive criticism

her back fur is the background, shes got such a great red stripe on her back <3
