Oh my gosh, you did so amazing on this. Watching this progress ... and the final version still stuns me at how awesome it is. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the series! You did such a wonderful job! You completely surpassed my expectations with "A silhouette of her pole dancing in the background" - that's far better than what I had pictured. And the magical chains coming towards the viewer, the aggressive pose, you definitely got her in the midst of action. Just a magnificent piece all around. I hope everyone else likes this as much as I do, because I really think this is one of the best pieces I've seen from you.

I agree. I think the action pose here is amazing, and I love the light effects, with the light from the chains and the magic circle reflecting off her.

Commissions are always a mixed bag, because you never know what people will ask. Once a while I do get something I really like though.

Naw. I'm actually planning on commissioning this for each of the girls of Avalon, about one a month. I picked Annie for the first because she's the main character.

Nova lives in a different universe (a fantasy world) while Annie is on a parallel modern Earth (specifically Chicago, although she is from British Columbia). Have been tempted to add Blueberry to Annie's universe though.
