This is the latest model in the Imperial Armoury.
Imperial Mk.9 Armor is designed to prevent all but the heaviest caliber of weapons, ranging from handheld weapons to mounted guns. It is plated with a diamond woven polymer reminiscent of dragon scale armor. There is an ablative covering made of an energy reflective material. The third and final layer is underneath the armor, which is a millimeter thick flexible metal body suit, designed to absorb kinetic energy.
To top it off, the suit has a low level energy shield reminiscent of Master Chiefs energy shield.
Wearing the armor only decreases the users mobility by 15%, but doubles his/her strength. The armor weighs in at about 30 pounds, due to its light construction.
The helmet contains advanced targeting devices, and like that of the MJOLNIR armor from Halo, can utilize adapt its HUD to any weapon. This however, tracks squad movements, and battle field formations.
On back it has two high strength magnetic plates designed to hold two weapons of any kind. On front is has ports for attachable bandoleers, which can hold two clips, three grenades, and two breaching charges. The armor skirt is designed to give the soldier easy access to six cartridge ports. The skirt also can have two pistols holstered on it, via a simple system of straps that go along the upper leg.
