An unexpected Destiny's change
This is the second picture that I make for the event, this one was an idea of
born2beagator
"Eragon turning into the perfect mate for Sapphira"
Here I was happy with the characters but I am not with the Background, here I wanted to make a plain landscape but this is the better that I could do, depth is a thing that I really have to work.
Comments and criticism are welcome.

Which was bad. I may be biased because I read the book, but I just didn't like it.
[SPOILER WARNING!]
Several parts that are very important later in the series were cut out, such as the shattering of Isdar Mithrim. And the Ra'zac are important to Roran's plot in Eldest and the start of Brisingr, so having them die in the first film makes that plot useless.

Also, Urgals have horns (Think Dragon Age Qunari), Dwarves average at four feet, and elves should have pointed ears that Arya lacked in the film!

Don't get me started! That film. *screams*
The twins were cut out
The ra'zac were killed
Murtagh wasn't kidnapped
Saphira grew to adulthood in two seconds
Brom was killed by Durza
Durza had a smoking dragon
Urgals were tattoo guys
NO TEIRM!?
Daret was not where eragon used magic first
WTF DID THEY DO TO ANGELA
No solembum
I could go on and on and on

Heck, just by removing the Sapphire it stops Brisingr from being a movie. But its the little things that piss me off most. Specifically... i don't have enough fingers to count how many times Zar'roc is mentioned as having a ruby in its pommel, NOT A SAPPHIRE! Jeez, such a simple detail, and THEY MISSED IT! {sigh} I could write a better movie if I actually wanted to... though all I want rn is to write one where my Dwarven Noble Grey Warden winds up in Alagaesia...
The truth is that maybe you are overthinking this, the only context that we have is the idea that was given to me: "Eragon turning into the perfect mate for Sapphira" the trigger: the bond between them, nothing more.
If you want to add context you are free to imagine it, it could be interesting to see what kind of context do you want .

Well truth is that you nailed one of the problems that I had when I was drawing this, when I looked for references of Saphira I found that in ones that she have normal bat wings but in others she have feathery wings, it looks like there is a disagreement, so I had to choose, at the end I decided for feathery wings because I had never done them
Thanks for the comment I am glad that you liked it.

Well truth is that I didn't decided this color randomly I choose it because it is the opposite of the color of Saphira, it is a concept that I read about colors, the opposite colors are highlighted to each other and when they are together they are more lively, I thought that it was a way to show that they are soul mates
What you are saying is truth but if you look carefully at the wheel of color you will see that the color of saphira is turned clockwise to the purple specter, that means that the color of Eragon must be turned clockwise to the yellow specter, that color still have red but with yellow in it, that was something that I readed when was searching for the theory of color, you can use that wheel to search easily for the opposite of a color.
The color wheel is useful at times but fails to grasp at times the inner workings of character depth. Thorn was red not because Morzan's dragon was red but because Thorn and Saphira stood at opposite ends of the conflict, literally clashing yet equal in many ways. In a spiritual sense, blue and red represent opposite ends of the spectrum. Blue represents water while red represents fire, which are very much opposites, as you know. Blue embodies depth and sadness while red embodies passion, life, even anger. I could go on all day.
Btw, I made Eragon a white dragon because Bid'Daum was white. Nothing really spiritual about it, but him being a white dragon specifically was actually extremely important to the story.

Never even made it to paper, technically. Like my PMD-TV show crossover story, it began as an idea and remained as such for a very long time. I haven't gotten very far in posting the crossover, but I have big plans for it.
Ashes and the sequel Legacy began years back, right after I finished reading Eldest for the first time. I was so stoked for what would happen next that I built up a whole story predicting what would happen in book 3. Surprisingly, most of what I predicted actually turned out to be accurate. Eventually I stopped working on it and left it alone for a long time, but after the series ended I reworked it to instead be a sequel to Inheritance, showing how Eragon and Saphira finally ended the war with the empire.

Shortly after Eragon and Saphira entered the lands east of Alegasia, they discovered a war between two Dragon Rider factions known as the Imperials and the Rebels. Once led by Galbatorix himself, the Imperials were first formed in his quest to wipe the Riders from existence. Now they are led by a mysterious man who once served as Galbatorix's right hand who seeks to rule Surdus and considers himself to be Galbatorix's better.
This looks interesting, you could create a nice story with thist, however I have a question: why that specific names of those two faction, Imperial and revels, as those names suggest one is in power and the other opposes them, but looking at how you described them it is two factions with equal power that oppose each other
They didn't come to be known as that until Galbatorix sent an army back to Surdus 20 years and the war began in earnest. The Rebels may have more Riders and dragons, but the Imperials also have an army of over 30,000, sent with Galbatorix's champion. As for how they crossed the desert...well, I'm still working on that. The first Imperials, formed 70 years ago, were a group of renegade Riders headed by the Foresworn. The Rebels weren't as numerous at the time since they didn't expect Galbatorix to find them so quickly. Today, the champion sits on his throne in a city called New Gil'ead, controlling more than half of Surdus and slowly driving the Rebels south. It's only a matter of time before he turns his attention to Alegasia, making Eragon and Saphira possibly the Rebels' last hope for winning this war.
Well I can help you with that but to tell the truth I believe that I need to know more about those factions, like objectives, how they were formed, what kind of people from those factions?, if you want send me a PM with anything that can give me an idea of how they are and So I can tell you some ideas.
Thanks, it is nice to see that you liked it and what you are saying is truth I really wanted to see this more, it was one of the reasons that this idea was left in the second place of that raffle, I will see If I can do something more.
By the way thanks for the watch I feel happy that you are enjoying my work
