I normally don't do photography, but when I came across this REALLY OLD (17 years) picture of my Maine Coon, Caesar, I had to scan it.
This has to be my favorite picture of him, seeing as he actually posed for it.
This was most-likely taken by my mom when my parents were living in their first house, before I was born. There was but one other cat, Tracer, a gray tabby, who lived with him until she died at the age of 12 due to a stomach tumor. I miss Tracer dearly.
Caesar is 17 years old now, and is in perfect health C:
...and is in my lap, making things difficult. As usual <3
EDIT
December 11, 2009 Caesar was put down at the very old age of 18 due to a few things such as severe arthritis disabling him from moving, and a tumor that had him swollen up like a watermelon. Couldn't bear to see him that miserable any more, and there wasn't much to do. So we chose to put him out of his pain.
BUT his spirit shall live in my heart for the rest of my life, for he was nothing but love in animal form. My first friend to be there for me my entire life, even in the worst of times.
May we cross paths sometime, dearly loved one.
